Adding a VPN connection to a iPhone/iPad

1) Open the Settings App
2) Type VPN in the search bar at the top (Fig. 1).
3) Select VPN and Device Management (Fig. 1).
4) Select VPN (Fig. 2).
5) Select Add VPN Configuration.
6) Fill in the details as below (Fig.3):
  1. Type: L2TP
  2. Description: This can be anything your like, it's just a way to identify the different connections if you have more then one.
  3. Server: This will be provided to you by Inspired Dwellings and will normally be <unique_name>.inspiredremote.com
  4. Account: Provided by Inspired Dwellings this will be unique to you.
  5. Password: Provided by Inspired Dwellings this will be unique to you. You can enter it here to have iOS save this for you or you can leave this box empty to be asked each time you connect.
  6. Secret: This will also be provided to you and may also be called a PSK.
  7. Send All Traffic: Leave On.
  8. PROXY: Off
7) Click Done
8) You should now have a VPN toggle on the first page in the settings app (Fig. 4).
